Emily has served as a Director of JEM Worldwide since 2006.  She studied Culture and Politics at Georgetown University and earned degrees from Columbia University and Brooklyn Law School.  Emily began her career in immigration law in Washington, DC before steering her professional path towards managing a diversified family office investment portfolio, encompassing real estate, private equity, and venture capital for over a decade.

Emily has actively served on boards in the lumber and building materials industry, real estate development and education, and currently serves as an elder at her church. Emily’s unique blend of legal expertise and executive leadership acumen positions her as a pivotal advisor on corporate growth and strategic matters at JEM Worldwide.

Emily resides in Atlanta with her husband and three children.

Michael Tibbetts assumed the role of CEO of JEM Worldwide in 2006, following the passing of his father. Before fully dedicating himself to the responsibilities of CEO, Michael successfully balanced a career as a physician for the first 11 years. Graduating from Harvard Medical School and specializing as an ophthalmologist, he showcased exceptional dedication and a passion for healthcare.

In 2017, Michael made the decision to commit his full-time efforts to JEM Worldwide. Michael’s unique background in medicine and business allows him to bring a distinctive perspective to his leadership role driving the company’s expansion while staying true to the Tibbetts family values that have been the foundation of the organization for years.

Under Michael’s leadership, JEM Worldwide has experienced continued growth and expansion, positioning the company as a prominent player in the industry. His strategic vision and ability to navigate complex challenges have propelled the organization forward, setting the stage for sustained success and future opportunities.

Jessica has been a Director of JEM Worldwide since 2006. She studied Psychology at the University of Richmond and further pursued her Masters degrees in Clinical Social Work and Child Development from New York University and Sarah Lawrence College, respectively.

Commencing her career as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist in Washington, DC, Jessica specialized in trauma, attachment, and play therapy.

Drawing from her diverse skill set, Jessica has played a pivotal role in the family business, overseeing the management of the family office investment portfolio. This portfolio encompasses a wide range of investments, including real estate, private equity, and venture capital, and she has excelled in this capacity for the past decade.

In addition to her professional commitments, Jessica currently serves on the Sarasota County Advisory Council for Health and Human Services. She calls Sarasota, FL, her home, where she resides with her two daughters.

Brad has been at the helm of JEM Worldwide since 2017, bringing with him over 35 years of extensive experience as a seasoned business executive. As President, Brad’s leadership has propelled the company to new heights, driving remarkable growth and success.

Under Brad’s guidance, JEM Worldwide has witnessed a remarkable surge in revenues across all three resorts, thanks to his innovative sales and marketing approaches. His strategic mindset and ability to identify untapped opportunities have revolutionized the way we connect with customers and expand our market presence.

Beyond his role at JEM Worldwide, Brad also serves as a distinguished member of the board of the Dive Equipment and Manufacturer’s Association (DEMA). This influential position allows him to actively contribute to shaping the future of the industry and stay at the forefront of emerging trends and advancements.

Jason, a distinguished dive professional and accomplished underwater photographer, has a remarkable journey that began with his early career as a dive instructor. Recognized for his exceptional leadership potential from the outset, Jason has diligently worked his way up the ranks to become a key executive within our organization. With an unwavering dedication to excellence, he has been an invaluable asset to the JEM Worldwide team for the past 22 years.

 

As Vice President, Jason plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction and overseeing its day-to-day operations. His exceptional leadership skills, combined with his in-depth industry knowledge, enable him to guide the organization towards continued growth and innovation.

With a wealth of experience in managing development projects in the Cayman Islands, Craig has established himself as a seasoned professional in the industry. Over 14 years ago, Craig embarked on his journey with JEM Worldwide, demonstrating his exceptional skills and dedication, which eventually led him to a prominent position within the executive leadership team.

Craig’s unwavering commitment to professional growth and his desire to broaden his horizons led him to join the DART corporation for a three-year stint, playing a key role in leading development project teams responsible for the hospitality, commercial, and residential assets within the company’s extensive portfolio cementing his reputation as a trusted industry expert.

In October 2022, Craig returned to JEM Worldwide, assuming the role of Vice President for Property Development. This homecoming not only underscores his deep connection to the company but also showcases his remarkable ability to drive innovation and success in the industry.

With a wealth of experience in facilitating travel to the remote Clearly Cayman destinations, Sue and her team bring together decades of expertise in the dive and travel industry. Sue is highly regarded for her commitment to customer satisfaction and building lasting connections. Her genuine passion for the dive industry shines through in every interaction, fostering trust and loyalty among clients and partners alike.

Native Argentinian Melina possesses an impressive 23 years of invaluable experience in the dynamic hospitality industry. Her career has taken her to numerous esteemed resorts across the Caribbean, United States, and Latin America.

Melina’s rich background encompasses noteworthy stints at Marriott International properties, where she spent 12 years excelling in sales and operations within the Westin Brand across the Caribbean. She also made significant contributions to Caesar Park hotels in Latin America, focusing on branded F&B operations. Additionally, Melina played an instrumental role in luxury hotel openings and renovations in both the Caribbean and South America.

Melina truly excels in the luxury sector, where her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled guest experiences set her apart. Working in remote destinations, she has overcome numerous obstacles and thrived in fast-paced working environments, driven by her persistence and unwavering pursuit of excellence.
